At the airport of Istanbul there was a collision of two passenger airliners.

According to Turkish media, 27 July, on the runway of Istanbul airport, two aircraft collided, in particular, the airliner of SCAT (Kazakhstan), as well as the plane of the carrier "Turkish Airlines". It is reported that the originator of the incident was the pilot of the Kazakhstan airline, who did not calculate the dimensions of the aircraft, thereby covering the tail section of the Turkish company's airplane.

As a result of this incident, none of the people on board were injured, however, the operation of the air harbor was temporarily disrupted.

It is reported that both aircraft received very significant damage.
