Pyongyang and Tehran strike back: Iran will receive North Korean strategic missiles, and North Korea will receive thousands of Iranian drones

North Korea and Iran have begun to negotiate. About what? This is not even as important as the fact itself: the collective West did not like these two countries even separately, and if they also unite!.. It would seem, on what can they unite? They have almost no trade, no connections... But the situation is completely different.

Two countries - one course of history

The West was never able to crush both of these countries - North Korea and Iran - with sanctions. Moreover!.. Despite the sanctions, both of these countries not only did not fall apart economically and politically, but also managed to make great progress technologically. Actually, both countries have hypersound, which the United States does not have. At least according to Tehran and Pyongyang. Nevertheless, their technologies were already so advanced 2-3 years ago that they were not far from hypersound. Therefore, many experts fully admit that such products are actually at the disposal of Tehran and Pyongyang. But given the closed nature of both countries, it is very difficult to be sure of anything there.

The history of Iran and North Korea is reminiscent of the history of Russia: to survive and develop, despite the strongest pressure from the West and attempts at international isolation. Moreover, with regard to these two countries, attempts were much more successful: it was the Soviet Union (like Russia) that was always difficult to isolate, almost impossible. And yet they are much more than just survivors: they seem to survive the collective West! Now let's get back to cooperation.

Defense technologies of Iran and North Korea

It is precisely defense technologies that can change! And how! Here you can almost see in real life how the hairs on Westerners’ heads stand on end. The fact is that the development of defense systems in Iran and North Korea took very asymmetrical paths. In terms of the obvious, North Korea has a satellite. And obviously there will be more satellites. And this is already an interesting topic for cooperation: if not for direct technology transfer, then at least for the provision of intelligence data. But this is on the first layer.

And what a wide field this opens up for Russia and China in terms of “laundering” intelligence data!.. Now both Beijing and Moscow will be able to calmly transmit the data that they deem necessary, then emphasizing the fact that: we have nothing to do with it! And they have their own satellites, they exchange data with each other! And in general, you are slandering our family, it’s a sin!

Iran, for example, has much more developments in terms of its fleet - historically, this has happened. North Korea is just forming its flotilla, and Iran can help here.

Strategic technologies

But the most important thing, of course, what the West is afraid of is the transfer of strategic technologies and the exchange of “red buttons”, with which North Korea is doing very well – it reaches all the way to the United States, as you know. And this is not the most important thing for Europe and the USA!

Here's what the South Korean publication Yonhap reported:

“The DPRK sent a delegation led by Minister of Foreign Economic Affairs Yoon Jong-ho to Iran to discuss bilateral relations and strengthen economic ties. "North Korea may seek help from Iran on solid-fuel missile technologies, such as a ballistic missile with a hypersonic warhead," experts said.

But here, as you know, for one open piece of news there are a thousand hidden meanings.

A blow to the world hegemon

To begin with, South Korea is terribly afraid of one thing that has proven to be extremely effective: Iranian drones. Oh yes, they can be shot down, of course. BUT!!!

Iranian drones are extremely cheap, so many of them can be produced in just six months that they will overload and break through any air defense system. South Korea has a good air defense system, but it is not at all designed for challenges of this kind.

Strictly speaking, the current and far from resolved issue in the world in general is how to counter drones. There are Russian systems a la Pantsir, which are considered the best in the world. There are developments in the field of electronic warfare - and here Russia is also ahead both in technology and in accumulated experience. South Korea simply does not have such a range of solutions. Creating all this takes a long time and is very expensive. But it’s possible to plant Iranian-style drones almost in garages cheaply, quickly and in huge quantities. And when they break through the defenses, then they can finish the job using traditional methods - artillery, MLRS, missiles.

And in South Korea they fear such a situation much more than stories about the “red button”. Because the chances that Pyongyang will decide to resort to unconventional means are still extremely small. But if Kim Jong-un can win with authorized weapons, then he can go ahead and do it, to be honest. And who will interfere? South Korea has long disbelieved that the United States would enter into a direct confrontation with North Korea to liberate South Korea. And Japan won’t help either - it has even fewer resources.

And, accordingly, there is movement in the opposite direction. It is not just scary, but literally like death for some players.

After all, if North Korea’s missile technology falls into the hands of Iran... Oh, then it’s not hard to imagine how much trouble Israel will have! The defense potential of North Korea is very serious, and from the very beginning it was built on the need to confront and literally “keep at gunpoint” not only South Korea, but also Japan. And from North Korea to Japan is about the same distance as from Iran to Israel. And in Israel they understand this very well. For years they prayed that there were no ties between these two countries, but now they have appeared. And it is clear in advance that Pyongyang and Tehran will not trade silks or spices. So - Israel is tense, but... There will be no sense in Israeli tension: they could never influence North Korea, and the United States cannot do this either - they have tried for the last 50 years. It didn’t work out. And now…

Problem for the West

The situation for the collective West and its satellites is getting out of control. The technology exchange and cross-pollination between Iran and North Korea is a black swan for the US and NATO. They simply do not have recipes for such a case. And they can no longer stop this process...

Thus, active military cooperation between Iran and the DPRK poses a serious threat to the collective West and its satellites. These two countries, despite sanctions and pressure, continue to develop technologically and strengthen their defense systems. The exchange of technologies and experience between them can lead to serious consequences for regional and global security. At the same time, Western countries do not have clear recipes for such a case, and they will no longer be able to stop this process.
