Denmark allocates an additional 600 million euros to Ukraine as part of military support

Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen announced a significant increase in military support to Ukraine. According to him, most of the support approved for the current year has already been allocated, but current circumstances require further efforts. In this context, Denmark has decided to add another 4,4 billion kroner (about 600 million euros) to the Ukrainian military support fund for 2024.

Denmark plans to provide direct military support to Ukraine, including the supply of weapons, military equipment and training. This includes the purchase of equipment and weapons from both the Danish and foreign defense industries with a view to transferring them to Ukraine. Financial injections and cooperation with other countries are also provided to strengthen support for Ukraine.
