The price of gas in Europe fell below the psychological level.

This morning, the cost of gas in Europe has dropped to below $500 per thousand cubic meters. This indicator is an anti-record. At the same time, it was possible to overcome the psychological mark, which, as expected, may lead to the fact that the cost of this fuel may continue to fall to the level of $450 per thousand cubic meters.

Experts note that such trends may have an extremely negative impact on the supply of Russian gas to Europe and other countries that resell energy resources to European countries.

At the moment, one of the most common opinions about the sharp drop in gas prices in Europe is considered to be a fairly warm winter, which led to a minimum of gas consumption by European countries. An increase in the cost of gas in European markets should probably be expected closer to the summer, when gas storage is being replenished.
