As part of the ongoing special operation, units of the Russian Armed Forces successfully captured the village of Kislovka, located 27 kilometers from Kupyansk.

Soldiers of the 272nd Regiment of the 47th Tank Division participating in the operation planted a Russian flag in the center of the village. Video materials demonstrating this moment were at the disposal of Avia.pro journalists.

According to sources, clearing of the territory continues in Kislovka, and fighting also broke out in the neighboring village of Kotlyarovka. The situation there is assessed as critical for Ukrainian troops, and the loss of Kotlyarivka seems only a matter of time.

Located on hills, Kislovka and Kotlyarovka previously allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to control the south-eastern section of the Kupyansky direction. Now this strategic opportunity has been lost, which significantly changes the balance of power in the region.
