Kazakhstan has denied the transfer of decommissioned military aircraft to Ukraine

The Kazakh enterprise Kazspecexport, specializing in the export and import of military equipment, officially announced the unreliability of information distributed online regarding the sale of decommissioned aircraft to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Representatives of the company emphasized that all operations with military equipment are carried out strictly within the framework of Kazakh legislation and only among legal entities accredited in the republic and possessing the appropriate licenses.

“The information distributed on the Internet does not correspond to reality. All auctions for the sale of aviation equipment were held in compliance with the requirements of the law and foreign companies were not allowed to participate in them,” says a message on the Kazspecexport website.

Additionally, the press service of the enterprise clarified that the procedure for disposing of decommissioned equipment is under the strict control of balance holders. Under the terms of the agreements, all aircraft, as well as components and assemblies for them, will be destroyed on the territory of Kazakhstan using methods that completely exclude the possibility of their recovery.

“The equipment will be disposed of by cutting and other methods, after which it will be exported from the country exclusively in the form of scrap non-ferrous metals.”, - emphasized the press service.
