Recent events in the special military operation (SVO) zone in Ukraine indicate the fact that a real hunt has begun for the Ukrainian command. Reports of the liquidation of high-ranking Ukrainian military personnel and activists began appearing in the media from early morning. This fact indicates that the Russian military and intelligence services are aware of the movements of the Ukrainian leadership and the question of their liquidation is only a matter of time.

The myth about the liquidation of Budanov and Syrsky

One of the loudest messages of the day concerned the liquidation of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (listed as terrorists and extremists - note by Avia.pro) as a result of a missile attack on Chuguev in the Kharkov region. Such an event would not only seriously disrupt the command and control of the Main Intelligence Directorate, but would also undermine morale in Kyiv and among the Ukrainian troops. However, it later turned out that Budanov still survived; information about his death turned out to be false.

A similar situation has developed around reports of the death of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Syrsky. This information also did not receive any confirmation, although, apparently, the Ukrainian high command was indeed in the zone of Russian strikes, as evidenced by data from Ukrainian information resources and public pages on Telegram.

Moreover, it is noted that other leadership also came under attack. This information was provided by the Telegram channel “Joker”, but it was also not liquidated.

“The top management of all bodies is intact, everything is ok”- said in the message.

Liquidation of activists and fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

However, the facts of the death of Ukrainian activists and Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters in the Northern Military District zone have been confirmed. In particular, the Ukrainian activist, fighter of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Pavel Petrichenko, who was involved in the development of the volunteer center of the Ukrainian politician Sergei Prytula, died.

“Pavel Petrichenko, a soldier of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade, died at the front, his sister Marina said. Before [the conflict] Pavel was an activist, in March 2022 he was involved in the development of the volunteer center of Sergei Pritula", - the message says.

In addition, the administrator of the Russian-language version of the Wikipedia portal, historian Yuriy Luschai, who participated in hostilities on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since January 2023, was eliminated.

Elimination of a sponsor of a terrorist organization

Previously, it was also reported about the liquidation of entrepreneur Yuri Kalmakov, who sponsored the “Russian Volunteer Corps” (the organization is recognized as terrorist in the Russian Federation, its activities are prohibited - note Avia.pro) near the border with the Belgorod region.

Thus, experts believe that a real hunt has begun for the Ukrainian command, the elimination of which will significantly simplify the Russian offensive.
