On the night of today, powerful explosions occurred in the city of Sumy, which is located in northern Ukraine. The Ukrainian TV channel "Public" reported this, citing its correspondents. Local residents reported windows in their homes shaking and emergency services activating and quickly heading to the blast site.

“The explosion shook the windows. You could hear the DSNS (analogous to the Ministry of Emergency Situations – approx. Avia.pro) cars driving to the scene of the explosion,” - says one of the local residents.

The details of what happened have not yet been disclosed, however, according to local residents, attacks on the city are becoming more frequent. According to experts, this is due to the fact that the Sumy region has become one of the key regions where significant forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are concentrated. It is also noted that the region is actively using civilian facilities for military purposes, which may be the reason for the increase in the number of attacks.
