Another aircraft was shot down over US territory.

A few hours ago, an unidentified aircraft was shot down over Lake Huron, carrying out reconnaissance over US territory. At the moment, it is known that the aircraft was a threat to civilian aircraft, in connection with which a large sector of airspace was closed, and after some time the aircraft itself was shot down.

At the disposal of Avia.pro journalists was a video made by local residents, which captures the moment of the destruction of an unknown flying object. The latter is clearly different from the previously shot down balloons, as it has a clearly different shape. The military is already working at the crash site of the downed aircraft, which, having gained access to the wreckage, will be able to establish the type of aircraft and, most likely, its belonging.

Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin said the US military has been monitoring the object very closely over Lake Huron, adding that she expects to get more information on what it is in the coming days.

The number of unidentified flying objects over the territory of North America has seriously increased. At the same time, Washington still cannot reliably establish who exactly launches them, with the exception of the case with a Chinese balloon, the loss of control over which was recognized in Beijing.
