Russian military personnel of the Center group successfully evacuated an American M1 Abrams tank from the Avdeevsky sector of the front in Donbass. This was reported by the head of the group’s press center, Alexander Savchuk. The tank will be presented at a public exhibition on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow.

Alexander Savchuk emphasized:

“This operation will allow everyone to see these examples of military equipment.”

According to him, the opportunity to see the Abrams tank at the exhibition will be a notable event.

According to American media reports, at least five such tanks have been disabled over the past two months. The Associated Press noted that due to the active actions of Russian drones, Ukraine stopped using Abrams tanks, but Kiev denied this information, noting its unreliability. In total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces received 31 vehicles of this type.

In addition, a German Leopard 2 tank and an M1150 Shredder engineering clearing vehicle, also based on Abrams, were recently evacuated from the front line. These actions demonstrate the successful evacuation of significant trophies from the battlefield.
