The DPRK Ministry of Defense criticized the United States in connection with the supply of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine. According to Pyongyang, this step by Washington will not change the situation on the Ukrainian front, but will provoke further negative consequences for America itself.

In a statement published by the North Korean Central News Agency, a defense ministry spokesman called the US decision a "rash choice" that will only lead to disaster. The US administration, which previously stated its reluctance to encourage Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory, has now, according to the DPRK, taken the path of escalating the conflict.

“The United States, by providing Ukraine with missiles capable of reaching Russian territories, is becoming a violator of peace and instigator of further aggravation of the conflict.”,” the ministry noted.

According to them, such a step makes the situation on the world stage more tense and dangerous, and also “inspires reckless confrontational hysteria in the Zelensky government.”

The statement also expresses confidence that no amount of ultra-modern weapons or military assistance from the United States will help Ukraine change the course of the special operation and defeat the “heroic army and people of Russia.”

“The supply of US long-range missiles to Ukraine only strengthens its military ambitions and only makes the situation more unsafe for the United States itself, whose defeat in Ukraine is only a matter of time.”, concluded the DPRK Ministry of Defense.
