The battalion of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system has begun combat duty on the territory of Ukraine.

One division of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system has begun combat duty on the territory of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, a representative of the Ukrainian Air Force, said on the air of the telethon.

According to Ignat, these systems use different missiles to deal with different types of targets, such as ballistic missiles and aerodynamic objects. In particular, the Patriot complex can shoot down surface-to-surface missiles, as they are launched along a ballistic trajectory.

The representative of the Air Force of Ukraine also published his selfie with the Patriot air defense system.

“I took a selfie as a keepsake... One of the divisions has already started combat duty, it is working... Others, those that we were promised, are on their way to their future positions”, - he said.

It is obvious that now the Russian military will be busy identifying the positions of the Patriot air defense systems for their speedy elimination, in connection with which we should expect early strikes on the objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
