Shakro Molodoy was released on parole after six years in prison

The famous thief in law No. 1 Zakhary Kalashov, better known as Shakro Molodoy, was released on parole from a maximum security colony in Krasnodar. He served about six years of the nine years and ten months he was sentenced to.

Shakro Molodoy has been one of the most influential crime lords in Russia since the early 90s. After a series of assassination attempts in 2003, he moved to Spain, where he was involved in money laundering from criminal business in the Russian Federation. In 2006, he was detained in the UAE and extradited to Spain, where the court sentenced him to 7,5 years in prison.

In 2015, Shakro took part in a shootout on Rochdelskaya Street in Moscow, which was the result of extortion from the owner of the Elements cafe. In 2018, he was sentenced in Russia. As a prosecutor once stated in court, Shakro Molodoy became the leader of the Russian criminal community after the death of thief in law Ded Khasan in 2013.

The court decided to grant parole due to the prisoner's vision problems. Despite this, many experts believe that Shakro Molodoy still retains his influence in the criminal world and that his release could lead to a new wave of crime.
