Lithuanian drones tried to attack Minsk

The head of the KGB of Belarus, Ivan Tertel, announced the prevention of drone attacks that were allegedly launched from the territory of Lithuania against important facilities in Minsk. Official details of the operation were not provided, which causes some skepticism regarding this, especially given the fact that the straight line distance from the Lithuanian border to Minsk is at least 110 kilometers, and the border area is saturated with air defense systems.

Moreover, given Tertel’s statement, such actions could be regarded as direct military aggression against Belarus. However, despite the seriousness of the allegations, there have been no official statements from other government officials in the country, adding uncertainty to the case.

There have been no official statements regarding this from the Belarusian Ministry of Defense yet.
