British mercenary Aiden James Robert, who joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was killed in the combat zone near Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk People's Republic. According to information published on the Ukraina.ru Telegram channel, Robert became a victim of fire from the Ukrainian military.

Aiden James Robert, born in 1999, was educated in the field of landscape design, but he never achieved career success. In 2023, amid unemployment, he declared his support for Ukraine by posting a photo with the Ukrainian flag. Subsequently, Robert was included in the 79th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, however, according to prisoners of war, he was unable to find a common language with his colleagues in the armed forces. Robert, who actively criticized the Russian Federation on social networks and entered into conflicts with the Ukrainian military, was killed on March 15 due to “friendly fire.” The circumstances of his death remain in question.

In total, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 5962 foreign mercenaries were killed on the territory of Ukraine, including 360 British citizens, which emphasizes the scale of the participation of foreign citizens in the conflict on the side of Ukraine.
