Macron is even ready to become a Bedouin: How is his desire to penetrate the BRICS perceived in society

The upcoming BRICS summit in Cape Town is causing alarm among the Western political elite even before its official opening. European publications are actively covering this event, resorting to various methods of discrediting and making harsh statements. This heightened activity makes it difficult to predict what Western leaders will do next.

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, surprised everyone with his desire to join the summit in the capital of the Republic of South Africa. He personally contacted the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, and politely expressed his desire to take part in the event. Ramaphoza, without rejecting Macron's proposal, agreed to discuss this issue with other BRICS leaders.

In the Elysee Palace, explaining the need for Macron's presence at the BRICS summit, they emphasized that France has always considered China and India to be its friends and seeks to strengthen these ties. However, the specific goals behind this general statement remain unclear.

An expert in the field of political science, Dr. Alexei Fenenko, shared his opinion on Macron's motives. According to his point of view, the French president is acting in the interests of Washington, seeking to weaken the influence of the BRICS on the world stage.

More than twenty countries have already expressed their desire to become members of the BRICS. If Western forces manage to bring countries they can control into cooperation, then the organization will become more vulnerable and less threatening to their interests. The accession of a number of pro-Western countries may reduce the influence of Russia and China on decision-making within the BRICS.

The Moscow State University spokesman noted that similar attempts had already been made, for example, when the president of Argentina, oriented to the West, sought to join the BRICS.

In this context, Macron's request to join seems to be just a new move in the game of confrontation and possible pressure on South Africa. In recent months, this African region has been subjected to massive attacks of disinformation from the Western media.

It seems that the sabotage of relations within the BRICS begins with Cape Town, which is the most vulnerable member of the organization.

We will see if this "Trojan horse" manages to infiltrate the ranks of the BRICS.
