Built on its own initiative by "Aircraft Stirmen K °» (Stearman Aircraft Company), acquired in 1934, the company "Boeing", using as a basis for a model aircraft with the same firm. H70 plane (a designation given to it by the manufacturer) was submitted as a candidate in accordance with the requirements of the US Air Force 1934 years to the basic training aircraft.
