Patrushev called Ukraine responsible for the terrorist attack in Crocus

Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Russian Security Council, said that the Kiev regime was behind the tragic terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall, which occurred on March 22 in Krasnogorsk near Moscow. This statement was made in response to questions from journalists about the involvement of Ukraine or ISIS in the attack (a terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation - note by Avia.pro). In the context of the investigation, President Vladimir Putin pointed to the need to establish the mastermind of the terrorist attack and emphasized the US attempts to hide Kyiv’s participation in this crime.

The attack, which killed 139 people and left 182 injured, was carried out by a group of radical Islamists, according to Russian authorities. The armed attackers opened fire on visitors and also started several fires, which led to the collapse of the building's structures and the complete destruction of the auditorium. Putin stressed the importance of getting answers to many questions related to what happened, pointing to the guilt of radicals who, according to Moscow, are supported by the Ukrainian authorities.
