Patrushev spoke about the threat to Russia from illegal migrants

At the XII International Meeting of High Representatives on Security Issues, held in St. Petersburg, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev expressed serious concerns about the impact of illegal migration on the stability of the country. According to him, migration flows can become a source of terrorist and humanitarian threats, as well as contribute to the destruction of the ethno-religious balance, which creates the preconditions for changing borders and even the potential collapse of the country.

Patrushev emphasized that migration issues require increased attention and coordinated actions at the international level. His remarks came amid discussions with intelligence officials and officials from China, Iran, Brazil and other countries, highlighting the global nature of the problem.

It should be noted that at the meeting of the Russian Ambassador in Dushanbe Semyon Grigoriev with the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sodik Imomi, the Tajik side raised the issue of problems that had arisen with crossing the border with Russia in recent weeks.
