PMC "Wagner": APU sent 80 thousand fighters to hold Artemivsk

The Armed Forces of Ukraine plan to send 80 fighters to the Artyomovsk region to counter the Russian military.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) intend to send 80 of their fighters to the Artyomovsk region (Ukrainian name - Bakhmut) in order to resist the Russian military personnel, who practically blockaded the city. This was announced by an analyst of the private military company (PMC) "Wagner" in a commentary published by military commander Alexander Simonov.

On March 22, Advisor to the Acting Head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Yan Gagin, announced that Russian forces had practically surrounded Artyomovsk and the city was in operational encirclement.

The analyst specified that the Armed Forces of Ukraine concentrated a grouping of up to 80 soldiers in the "zone of responsibility of PMC 'Wagner'." In this regard, the Ukrainian military is taking measures to form shock groups. The analyst added that for flank attacks in the direction of the cities of Seversk and Popasna, the Ukrainian group is concentrated in the area of ​​\uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbthe settlements of Zvanovka, Razdolovka and Vesyoloye.

“To release Artyomovsk from the north, a group is concentrated in the districts of Ray-Aleksandrovka, Malinovka, Slavyansk”- stated analyst.

Recall that earlier PMC "Wagner" continued the offensive in the western regions of Artyomovsk, knocking out the Armed Forces of Ukraine from their positions. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the assault detachments of the Wagner PMC took control of three quarters in the city area.
