"For power offensively!"

Previous article: 'Good MI-26, yes dórog " It ended with the words:
“I hope that the designers of the cost centers will finally gain courage and patent the scheme with the third wing of the theater of technical operations on the design bureau for them. ML Mil.

In vain hoped:

"Airbus patented the concept of a helicopter with" at least one lifting engine and a supporting rotor, at least one pair of wings, at least a pair of horizontal thrust engines, one each right and left. "
That is, anyone repeating the scheme, or at least trying to do something with the traction engines on the sides, in any layout and combination, automatically turns out to be a violator of the watermelon patent. ”

But this is a truly Russian scheme established Bratukhina IP even in times of "tsarya- Peas»: Russian Aviation Museum Bratuhin 11-EA 1936.

Well, if she peered Airbus better than the general designer of the cost center, they and good luck !!!
Raikin: "Where do you work? - Under construction. - What are you doing? - Yes. " In KB MVZ "Smoke" from the beginning of 80-ies, after the launch of a series of heavyweight Mi-26 under the leadership of MN Tishchenko.

The State Duma was a proposal on restoration of the Ministry of Aviation Industry (MAP). It is logical! Engineering excellence, grow and needs that need to know, understand and meet the holding company "Russian Helicopters". But it must be so, but in fact Holding - a mediator, appropriating, and inhibitory developments helicopter constructors, so the production of helicopter factories. In the Soviet Marie positions occupied by specialists rather than effective managers of sociologists and linguists, specialists of "buy-sell" a trade education on such -Taburetkina Serdyukov.

For example, if the “Helicopters of Russia” holding did not deprive OJSC Kamov of finances for the Ka-92 and Ka-102 projects in 2008 in favor of the virtual Mi-X1, today the tests of these modern high-speed transport helicopters would have ended. Syria has shown that our helicopters and the Navy are in great need of such helicopters; they are also needed in the restoration of the military towns of the Arctic, on shelf flights, etc.

But for the maintenance of gas pipelines with frequent landings, oil rigs, for work with external suspension and short-distance flights when taking off and landing through 15-30min. flight, high-speed helicopters will not be cost-effective, right there - helicopters like Ka-32-10AG, i.e. in the national economy both will be in demand.
Also, there has long been a need for smaller helicopters. At the time, NI Kamov offered Aeroflot to replace the Mi-4 helicopter with a coaxial Ka-25 scheme. He had two engines with a total power = 1800l.s. (on the Mi-4 there was one engine with the power = 1700l.s.), the Ka-25 with the same capacity had much better speed characteristics and a much larger power reserve. But, as evil tongues said, ML Mil overwhelmed him with his authority and after the Mi-4 helicopters were taken out of service, various commissions fly over the gas pipeline and other areas on Mi-8 helicopters as 6-10 people, i.e. with less than half the load possible.

Even against the tail helicopters would like to add that such in-you are very dangerous from the start to the stop screws, so from them for a long time should be abandoned, and freebies for a comfortable life, General Designer MVZ will suffice for a long time, while the Mi-8 yes Mi-24 / 28 not exhausted their resources.
Speaking of MAPE. Soon (maybe sooner) will start serial production of the Mi-38, but the most interesting thing in this moment is that the holding of a series of parallel launches Mi-171A2 factory in Ulan-Ude - a direct competitor to the Mi-38. Mi-171A2 will be cheaper, respectively, and the demand for helicopters Kazan plant, I think, will fall slowly, followed by bankruptcy.

Therefore, the KVZ leadership is likely to consider such a possible option, and in its strategy, program countermeasures:

  1. debug the production and sale of Ansat helicopters;

  2. reflect on the future replacement of helicopters Mi-8 / 38 on its own initiative, for example on the basis of the same helicopter design vertibirds transverse scheme taking into account the strengths and mistakes Ka-22 and B-12.

I am convinced that the two catastrophes of Ka-22 were sabotage, for both in the OKB "Kamov" they did not rape both the speed and the overloads - nothing broke off, there were no breaks, no breaks, and no catastrophes. And in the second run, in both rotors, an attempt was made to organize a leak of oil: "According to the flight log of the navigator, the Ka-22M 01-01 rotorcraft took off at 3 an hour 57 minutes, but soon returned due to a malfunction (leakage of oil from under the tightly closed oil bottle of the left Reducer) and in 4 hours 10 minutes landed. At 4 an hour 55 minutes took a second flight and an hour later - landing in Turkestan. There was already a rotorcraft 01-03 Garnaev, who had smoke before landing in the cockpit. On inspection, the nut of the left support of the synchronization shaft was turned off. Inspected and refueled the car 01-01. According to the explanation of the mechanic Yu. T. Denisov, there was discovered and eliminated the play of the slot-hinge of the left automaton-skew. " (First flight: 1960).

What happens in such cases - motorists know: the engine CLEAN! The number did not pass, because the helicopters were piloted by the pilots of the highest class, then during maintenance after landing in Turkestan, a proven defect was introduced, which prevented later on establishing the causes of accidents in both cases.

I am sure - if serving tehbrigady were in flight, along with the crews in the rotary-wing, all vertibirds to arrive at your destination without flying accidents!
Just a couple of words on the Ka-22 rotorcraft. In the description of its cruising speed = 270k / h., And in fact it was already more than 300k / h. Its empty weight is almost one and a half tons lighter than the Mi-6 helicopter with the same maximum take-off weight = 42,5т. This means that they have the same engines and they are built from the same iron, so the price they have is equal, and the performance of the rotorcraft would be significantly higher!

That's me to the fact that there is a complete sense to repeat the scheme rotorcraft Ka-22 with great benefits for the State and the manufacturer. In addition, NI Kamov built it after the tiny Ka-15, and even KHP "ANSAT" much more, not to mention the serial Mi-8.

When testing speed Ka-22 reached 375k / h. and it’s with less power than rated 800l.s engines. and the bearing screw with blades of an outdated (trapezoidal) design. Excessive resistance was provided by the cockpit built on top of the fuselage, and the chassis of an exorbitantly large magnitude retarded the helicopter in flight, so there is no doubt that for a modern rotary-wing the cruising speed in 340-360к / h will be normal. and there is no point in circumventing this modern rotorcraft scheme, and besides, it’s not so hot! I would also add that in modern rotorcraft the propellers must be made with coaxial prop fans and, for safety, the ground crew and passengers must be captured.

Chassis even the high-speed rotary wing can be made non-retractable, but with low drag, keeping in mind that it's not a plane and even take-off it is an aircraft is able to get off the ground at speed = 60k / h.
And for the rear of the truck and shutters - an example of AN-26 / 12.

Vitalii Belyaev.

Bullshit - you can not patent something that has long done. Let the wheel and then just patent

For the first time in a long time I hear a voice of common sense about the future of vertically taking off vehicles. The modern aircraft industry has become obsessed with the primitive, imperfect classical scheme of a "tail" helicopter. We are stagnating in spite of the excellent developments of engineers, to which the B-12 and Ka-22 are rightly attributed. it is time to develop a modern heavy helicopter with two or three propellers, which will give much better opportunities both in terms of carrying capacity and speed. The "propeller" seems to be promising, too, where the interaction of horizontal and vertical propellers is used. It's all about the position of the leadership of the departments mentioned in the article !
