Atlantic painted in Russian color: Russian nuclear submarine fleet could lead to US apocalypse - McGregor

Colonel Douglas McGregor, a former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, predicts gloomy scenarios for the United States in the event of a direct confrontation with Russia. According to him, Moscow has the right to send its nuclear submarine fleet into the Atlantic Ocean, which is a formidable force capable of destroying the United States.

“If we decide to go to war with Russia, the most stupid thing to do would be to threaten a nuclear strike. The Russians could fill both the Atlantic and the Pacific with their submarines, where they could get support from the Chinese navy,” the colonel said in an interview with Michael Savage.

McGregor emphasizes that at the moment the United States does not have sufficient resources to counter the Russian fleet, since most of the American submarines are under repair.

The American Naval War College agrees with McGregor's prediction. Professor Michael Peterson also emphasized Russia's superiority in the submarine fleet compared to all other countries, which makes it the most serious threat to the United States.

The situation is aggravated by journalist John Rossomando, who noted that the US Navy is suffering from an acute shortage of funding, and traces of rust on warships have become a symbol of the decline of the US Navy due to decades of neglect.

In turn, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, announced that by the end of 2023, the Belgorod nuclear submarine with Poseidon nuclear drones, which the American magazine Popular Mechanics described as "doomsday weapons," will be adopted by the Navy.
