In St. Petersburg, a shocking incident occurred in one of the branches of the Ozon company, when a service employee attacked a client with his fists, causing him serious injuries. According to eyewitnesses, the conflict began after 46-year-old Vadim, who had recently undergone surgery on his leg, came to find out the reasons for the delay in refunding the returned goods. Leaning on the counter and subsequently moving to a stool due to pain in his leg, the man displeased one of the employees.

The situation escalated into a skirmish, during which Vadim suggested that the aggressive employee “show masculinity” during military operations in Ukraine, and not in communicating with clients. These words were the last straw, after which an Ozon employee, shouting “I will take revenge on you for Ukraine,” threw the client to the floor, kicked him and tried to cause even more harm, using a pen as a weapon.

As a result of the attack, Vadim received a concussion, many bruises and a laceration on his ear. The victim was immediately hospitalized, where he received the necessary medical care. A statement was filed with the police regarding the incident, and the issue of initiating a criminal case against the aggressor is currently being considered.

The incident caused widespread public outcry, highlighting the severity of political differences and their impact on even everyday interactions between people. The situation also calls into question the safety measures companies take to protect their customers and employees from such incidents.
