The raid in the Sevastopol Bay is blocked due to an incident with Ukrainian drones.

The authorities of Sevastopol announced the suspension of the movement of maritime passenger transport in the Sevastopol Bay after a night incident with Ukrainian drones. As a result of the incident, the movement of boats and ferries was stopped, and buses were organized to provide communication between the northern and central parts of the city.

Earlier, the governor of the city, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said that at night the forces of the Black Sea Fleet successfully repelled the attack of surface drones. One of the drones was destroyed, the second self-destructed. The incident occurred on the outer roadstead, no objects were damaged.

Since July last year, Ukrainian drones have been periodically trying to attack Sevastopol, the main base of the Black Sea Fleet, as well as other objects in the Crimea. The targets of the attacks were the headquarters of the fleet, energy facilities and military airfields. Air defense systems successfully destroy most drones.

In connection with the threats of terrorist danger in Sevastopol, there is an unlimited yellow level of danger. This implies strengthening the work of law enforcement agencies, searches at railway stations and other crowded places, transferring medical organizations to high alert mode and determining places for temporary accommodation of people. It also provides increased protection of strategic facilities, including energy infrastructure.
