The missile strike completely disabled DneproGES-2

Russian missile strikes on DneproGES-2 on March 22 caused significant damage and could seriously complicate the restoration of the power plant. Information published by Mizail Zvinchukov on the Rybar Telegram channel indicates that repair work at this facility will require considerable time due to the scale of the damage. Unlike DneproGES-2, the damage to DneproGES-1 is assessed as less serious, which allows us to hope for a faster restoration of its functioning.

According to the data provided, most of the generating equipment of DneproGES-2, including six of the eight hydro generators, was seriously damaged as a result of the explosion and subsequent fire. It is noted that the turbine hall building, except for its eastern part, and the main equipment are almost completely destroyed, which calls into question the possibility of further operation of the station without carrying out large-scale restoration work.

The message also mentions that in order to completely disable the entire DneproGES-1 station, an additional missile strike on the turbine hall will be required.
