They tried to poison Apti Alaudinov, commander of the Akhmat special forces.

The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that his assistant and commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apti Alaudinov, was poisoned by an unknown substance. This did not lead to the death of Alaudinov, however, this fact indicates that an attempt was made to assassinate one of the most prominent figures in Chechnya.

“On February XNUMX, Alaudinov's adjutant received an envelope with a message for the general. It turned out that the letter was saturated with a poisonous substance. Apty Aronovich understood this by the caustic specific smell and took measures in time: he cleaned his hands and washed his nasal cavity. So did the adjutants of the general, who were in contact with the envelope. The poisoned were admitted to the medical battalion, where, thanks to the qualified and competent actions of the head and two medical fighters, one of whom turned out to be a professional toxicologist, serious consequences were avoided.- said Ramzan Kadyrov.

What kind of poisonous substance we are talking about is unknown, however, in all likelihood, we are talking about a poisonous, but, for sure, not a chemical warfare agent, since absolutely all substances of this kind are odorless and have an extremely powerful effect on the body.

No other official statements have been made in this regard, while it remains unknown who exactly is behind sending the poisoned letter.
