An unexpected statement from the United States about Russia's readiness to resist NATO in Ukraine is not just for a long time, but for a very long time...

In a recent article by the American magazine National Interest, columnist Zack Yost emphasized the unpreparedness of Western countries for long-term action, unlike Russia. In his opinion, the leadership of Russia, headed by President Vladimir Putin, provided itself in advance with everything necessary for a possible long-term confrontation.

Yost argues that the key ingredients in this situation are artillery ammunition and infantry reserves. While many states in the West are facing unexpected difficulties, Russia is showing confidence, thanks to the readiness of its military-industrial complex.

The reviewer emphasizes:
"The West appears to have been ill-prepared for attritional action without an appropriate industrial base."

This unpreparedness leads to the rapid depletion of Western arsenals.

In addition, Yost recalled Vladimir Putin's statement about the active development of the Russian military-industrial complex. According to the President of Russia, the country will soon increase the production of ammunition, overtaking all the major players on the world stage in this indicator.
