According to the latest reports from Mikhail Zvinchuk, the enemy's unannounced counteroffensive continues. Ukrainian military formations are successfully fulfilling their main task: they are forcing the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (RF Armed Forces) to distribute their forces, removing the most combat-ready units from other critical areas. This requires the RF Armed Forces to transfer troops to sectors of the front where there is a threat.

Zvinchuk reports that the fighting on the flanks of the Bakhmut group continues with increased intensity. The parties are introducing more and more new forces into the battle, which creates additional tension. At the moment, as Zvinchuk notes, the position of the Russian Armed Forces is more like a reactive one - the Russian military is concentrating its most experienced units at one point on the map.

According to the Russian expert, in the short term, this situation can lead to a number of negative consequences. In particular, the distribution of forces and resources of the RF Armed Forces may turn out to be ineffective if they continue to concentrate their forces in a narrow sector of the front. This can lead to a decrease in defense capability in other directions and an increase in vulnerability to possible enemy counterattacks.
