A jet UAV was destroyed in the Voronezh region, said regional governor Alexander Gusev. The incident occurred without consequences for the local population and infrastructure - there was no destruction or casualties. Gusev stressed that the operational situation in the region is under control, but the threat of drone attacks still remains.

The Russian Ministry of Defense clarified that the incident happened on April 23 around 23:00 Moscow time. According to the department, this was an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack on the territory of the Russian Federation using an aircraft-type drone. The threat was successfully neutralized by air defense assets on duty.

It should be noted that previously the Ukrainian Armed Forces rarely used kamikaze jet drones in their attacks, but it is known that their mass production has been established.
