The Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to attack Moscow on May 9 with the help of three UAVs.

On May 9, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) made an unsuccessful attempt to attack Moscow using at least three UJ-22 Airborne unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It is reported that all three drones were successfully neutralized without causing harm to people or infrastructure.

According to Mash sources, one of the drones was shot down in the sky over the village of Przemysl in the Kaluga region, located 175 km from Moscow. The second UAV was made for a forced landing on the territory of the Bitsevsky forest, located not far from the Moscow Ring Road. The third device was discovered and neutralized in the Lomonosovsky district of the South-Western administrative district of the capital. As a result of the incident, none of the drones exploded, there were no casualties or damage.

According to preliminary data, all three UAVs were launched from the Chernihiv region of Ukraine, which is located at a distance of about 600 km from Moscow. Given the UJ-22 Airborne's maximum range of 800 km, an attack from that distance was quite feasible.

A little earlier it was reported that on May 9, more than 100 drones tried to attack Russia.
