Fragments of unknown missiles found in Volgograd region

Residents of the Volgograd region report the discovery of rocket debris.

On April 4, fragments of rockets were found near the village of Linevo, located in the Volgograd region. According to the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASTRA), the find was made by a local bread factory worker named Alexei N.

According to preliminary data, the incident did not lead to any damage or casualties. Specialists began collecting debris to determine its origin and type of missile.

This is not the first time rocket debris has been found in the area. Earlier, at the end of December 2022, fragments of a rocket were also found in a field near Linevo. According to the results of the examination, it turned out that it was an air-to-ground cruise missile with a range of up to 300 km.

It should be noted that near the village of Linevo there is a weapons testing ground. However, there is no official information about who exactly conducts these tests. It is also unknown if the debris found was the result of tests or if it was a missile that fell while firing during the exercise.
