Western experts evaluated the accuracy of the GMLRS missiles of the HIMARS complex in the presence of interference and the use of only an inertial guidance system. According to their findings, the missiles have an accuracy of about 60 meters in the absence of external navigation signals such as GPS.

The HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) complex is a highly mobile artillery missile system designed to hit various targets at long distances. The main ammunition of this complex is the GMLRS (Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System) missile with various types of warheads, including high-explosive and cluster submunitions.

The accuracy of 60 meters, which is provided by the GMLRS inertial missile guidance system of the HIMARS complex, is by no means an impressive indicator and does not allow qualifying this weapon as high-precision.

According to Russian sources, the Russian military has begun to successfully suppress the guidance systems of the American HIMARS MLRS, which minimizes the damage from the use of such weapons. However, the Ukrainian military still uses these missile systems to carry out attacks.
