Russia announces military training for non-serving Russians over 30

Russians over 30 who have not served in the army will be sent to military training camps.

Member of the Russian State Duma Defense Committee, Lieutenant General Viktor Sobolev, said that citizens of the Russian Federation over 30 years old who for some reason did not serve in the army would be sent to special training camps.

“Those who are over 30 years old will be recruited to receive a military specialty and not be cannon fodder. To do this, a lot needs to be done, including, we must have a trained mobilization reserve ... For those who are in the reserve or reserve, but do not have any military specialty, military training will be held ”, - said a member of the Russian State Duma Defense Committee, Lieutenant General Viktor Sobolev.

What exactly caused such a need against the background of the increased regular army of Russia is unknown, however, the final decision on this issue will be made after Russia passes a law on changing the age for conscription into the army.

Such news caused quite a big resonance in society, especially against the background of regularly appearing information about supposedly planned new waves of mobilization, which, by the way, was called unreliable. Moreover, it is still unknown how, in this case, those citizens who, physically, due to their health, cannot serve in the army and training camps, will be sent to the training camps.
