The drone exploded after falling near the highway in the Kaluga region.

An emergency occurred in the Kaluga region: an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell and exploded near the A-108 highway, known as the Moscow Big Ring.

According to preliminary data, the incident occurred on the evening of May 16 near the village of Tarutino, Zhukovsky district, Kaluga region. Eyewitnesses reported to the police about the fall of the aircraft and the subsequent explosion. According to them, they first noticed an unusual object in the sky, and then heard a loud explosion.

Arriving at the scene, police officers found debris belonging to the UAV on the highway. The main part of the wreckage of the drone was found in a forest area located near the highway. Experts have already begun work on establishing the model and origin of the drone, as well as the reasons that led to its fall and explosion.

Fortunately, according to preliminary data, no one was injured in the incident. At the moment, traffic on the A-108 highway is not disturbed, however, drivers are advised to be especially attentive and careful in the area of ​​​​the accident.
