The Armed Forces of Ukraine complained about the strikes by Russian bombs FAB-500M62.

According to the information received, Russian aviation uses FAB-500M62 air bombs with a planning and correction module (MPC) developed by GNPP Bazalt in the Ugledar region. This set of stabilizers and GPS / GLONASS navigation units allows you to turn an ordinary air bomb into a precision weapon, increasing its range to 40-60 km, depending on the mode and speed of the carrier aircraft.

On the published video, you can see the consequences of the arrival of an aerial bomb and the blast wave thrown off by the off-road vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​the South Donbass mine No. 1.

It is worth noting that the use of such bombs allows Russian aviation to achieve higher accuracy when raiding a target. This tool allows you to reduce the likelihood of hitting civilian objects and reduce the number of collateral casualties.

However, despite the fact that this type of weapon is considered more accurate and effective, its use on the territory of Ukraine continues to cause fierce criticism from the Ukrainian authorities. In turn, the Russian side does not officially comment on the use of such weapons.
