Ukraine received 100% of previously promised Leopard 2 tanks from Poland

Poland transferred to Ukraine all previously allocated Leopard 2 tanks.

As part of the ongoing supply of weapons to Ukraine, Poland has completed 100% transfer of heavy western Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. At the moment, all 14 of the previously promised tanks have been transferred to Ukraine - 4 combat units were delivered a few weeks earlier, while the rest were transferred a day back.

To date, Ukraine has 14 tanks of this type, however, by the end of this month, Germany will transport the Armed Forces of Ukraine another 18 Leopard 2 tanks, while Portugal will send three more combat vehicles of this type to Ukraine. In fact, a battalion of Western tanks will appear in service with Ukrainian troops by the end of this month. This, given the combat capabilities of the latter, will already be a very significant problem, although it is more than likely that their base will be identified and destroyed before the tanks can get real combat use.

The transfer of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine is primarily due to the fact that the West insists on organizing an offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in one of the directions of the front, which, among other things, was confirmed in Ukraine.
