The SBU tried to blow up the car of the president of the self-proclaimed Transnistria with 8 kilograms of RDX.

According to official data provided by the authorities of the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the security service of Pridnestrovie prevented an attempt to assassinate the President of Pridnestrovie, Krasnoselsky, organized by the SBU. The car of the president of the PMR was supposed to be blown up with 8 kilograms of hexogen, and various kinds of piercing and cutting elements in the form of nails, self-tapping screws, etc. were used as striking elements.

As follows from the information provided by the First Pridnestrovskiy TV channel, the number of victims from such an explosion could be measured in dozens. The terrorist act was planned in Tiraspol, in one of the crowded places, and the means for committing the terrorist act in Tiraspol were made in Ukraine.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie, the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Pridnestrovie have already been identified. All of them gave evidence to the SBU. The authorities of the PMR submit a request to the Ukrainian side to explain what happened, however, in Kyiv all the accusations are denied.

Experts note that because of what happened, the situation between Ukraine and Pridnestrovie could seriously escalate, since the grouping of Ukrainian troops is still present a few kilometers from the border of the PMR.
