Chinese military spotted training to storm Taiwan.

The exercises conducted by the Chinese armed forces around Taiwan have reportedly aroused concern in the international arena, as they are designed to show the power and readiness of the PRC to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity. China regards Taiwan as its own independent province and stubbornly seeks its return under its control.

Shi Yi, spokesman for the Eastern Zone Combat Command of the People's Liberation Army of the People's Republic of China, said the exercise is a necessary measure to protect China's sovereignty and warn separatist and foreign forces that advocate Taiwan independence. He also noted that the exercises will be conducted in accordance with the combat training plan and will include combat patrols of the sea and airspace around Taiwan.

It is worth noting that such actions by China are of concern to other countries, including the United States and Japan, which are also located in the Asia-Pacific region. Recently, in early April, Japan conducted an exercise using more than 2000 military personnel, as well as tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and other equipment, to strengthen its defense capability in the region.

The situation around Taiwan has escalated significantly in recent years, and China is increasing pressure on the island through various activities and exercises. This causes growing concern in the region and beyond, as such actions may lead to the outbreak of military conflict in the region.
