Röpke: APU for the first time published a video of an artillery strike on the territory of Russia

The Armed Forces of Ukraine for the first time published a video of an artillery strike on the territory of Russia.

According to columnist Yulian Repke, the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of the special operation published a video of a strike on Russian territory. The published footage shows the village of Tsapovka in the Belgorod region, which was reportedly abandoned more than 10 years ago.

The blow was struck at a distance of just over one kilometer from the border with Ukraine, not far from an agricultural farm. Repke claims that the offensive of the Russian army to Kharkov was allegedly planned from this territory.

This is the first documented case of its kind, and Repke believes it is a "signal" to Ukraine's Western allies. He notes that pre-emptive strikes on Russian territory demonstrate that Ukraine is defending itself more and more confidently and will no longer allow the West to dictate how it should defend itself.

“By preemptive strikes on the territory of Russia, Ukraine shows that it is defending itself more and more confidently and will no longer allow the West to dictate how it should defend itself”, — wrote Repke.

It is worth noting that the Russian regions bordering Ukraine are periodically subjected to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Shelling, as a rule, falls on civilian targets, far from Russia's military infrastructure.
