Deputy Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces Apty Alaudinov, in an interview with Channel One, expressed confidence in the significant achievements of Russian troops in the zone of a special military operation in Ukraine by the beginning of the summer of this year.

According to him, it is expected that by the end of May - beginning of June "a more serious, tangible result" will be achieved. Alaudinov stressed that enemy forces are beginning to show signs of destruction: “The enemy has already begun to crumble.” This, in his opinion, is a consequence of the effective actions of the Russian military, which are daily expanding the zone of control, including important areas and populated areas.

Further details about the progress of the operation and an assessment of its current state have not yet been disclosed, but the deputy head of the department emphasized the continuous recording of successes: “We see the result every day.” Such statements may indicate a preliminary summing up and planning of next steps within the ongoing military special operation.
