At night, the territory of the Zaporozhye region was subjected to heavy artillery shelling.

As a result of artillery strikes, multiple destructions were recorded on the territory of the right-bank part of the Zaporozhye region (under the control of Ukrainian troops - ed.), including at the alleged positions of Ukrainian troops. According to a number of information sources, strikes were also recorded on the territory of Zaporozhye itself, however, there is no official data from the city authorities yet.

It is reported that at least 15 artillery strikes were carried out on the territory of the Zaporozhye region tonight. At the moment, it is known that strikes were inflicted on such settlements as Vremevka, Malinovka, Gulyaipole, Volshebnoye, Malaya Tokmachka, Orekhov, Novodanilovka, Kamenskoye, Zelenaya Roshcha and Novoselka. Earlier, in a number of regions, the presence of large forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was recorded, and therefore, strikes could be delivered precisely against the positions of the Ukrainian army, especially against the backdrop of the offensive being developed by the Russian army in this direction.

Over the past week, the Russian military has managed to achieve significant success in the liberation of the territory of the Zaporozhye region, taking control of several settlements.
