The Minister of Defense of Ukraine announced the supply of aviation equipment by the West.

The next meeting of the Ukrainian allies at the Ramstein air base will take place in a few weeks. The key issue under discussion will be the provision of aviation means to Ukraine, including combat. Information on this subject was voiced by the head of the defense department of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.

According to the information voiced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, the next meeting at the Ramstein base will be "aviation" - it is scheduled for mid-February. Reznikov did not give details on this matter, however. it is known that several countries at once expressed their readiness to transfer their helicopters to Ukraine, and in addition, it is known that the Ukrainian authorities intend to send a request to the Netherlands for the supply of F-16 fighters.

The supply of combat aircraft and army helicopters to Ukraine indicates that today Kyiv is experiencing an acute shortage of military aviation. However, providing Ukraine with Western fighters could have extremely serious consequences, since it is practically guaranteed that Kyiv will use combat aircraft to strike targets located far beyond the front line.
