The Ukrainian military published video footage of urban battles in Bakhmut and Soledar.

Against the background of the loss of control over Soledar and the extremely difficult situation in Bakhmut, the Ukrainian military demonstrated the current situation in these regions by publishing video footage of urban battles. Judging by the video footage, the situation in Bakhmut, after the loss of control over Soledar, became seriously complicated. This indicates that the Armed Forces of Ukraine may lose control over this neighboring city.

On the video footage, you can see that the battles on the territory of Bakhmut are by no means being fought in closed positions, as originally assumed. This is primarily due to the fact that most of the city buildings are destroyed and perfectly shot through, and therefore, the Ukrainian military is forced to actively operate in the building. It is noteworthy that the video footage shows a defensive battle. This only emphasizes the plight of the Ukrainian military, who ended up in Bakhmut without cover from the north side.

At the moment, the battles for Bakhmut continue. At the same time, after the encirclement of Soledar by Russian troops and the start of fighting in Opytny, Bakhmut may be surrounded in the coming days.
