Head of the Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine: The attack on the oil depot in the Crimea is preparation for the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The head of the press center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Gumenyuk, said that the attack on the oil depot in Crimea is part of the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) for a large-scale counteroffensive. She shared her opinion during the daily telethon.

Gumenyuk explained that the attacks on Crimea were part of the preparation for the offensive, which many expect. Recall that earlier in the bay of Sevastopol there was a fire on the tank with fuel - the oil depot was hit by two unmanned aerial vehicles.

The head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the peninsula using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the day of the incident in Sevastopol. According to him, the air defense forces successfully shot down the UAV and there were no casualties.

As for the situation with the Ukrainian counter-offensive, there are still quite a few questions, however, it is clear that Kyiv will try to carry out attacks in at least one direction.
