Matviychuk told what Russia will do after the supply of F-16 fighters to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmitry Kuleba, said that the supply of American F-16 fighters to Kyiv would not cause an escalation of the conflict, but would become a deterrent. However, a retired colonel and military expert, Anatoly Matviychuk, expressed doubts about this position.

During the interview, Matviychuk criticized Kuleba's statement, considering it either stupidity or a lie. The military analyst believes that the real goal of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is to achieve political success at any cost. In his opinion, if the F-16 is delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the conflict can only intensify, since these fighters will become hunting targets.

Matviychuk is convinced that the F-16s will be considered a high-risk weapon for Russian troops and Russia will take measures to destroy them, regardless of where the fighters are based on Ukrainian territory.

“F-16s will be considered by us as a high-risk weapon for our troops. As soon as Ukraine has these fighters, we will begin to destroy them, wherever they are based, in the western or central part of Ukrainian territory., - said Matviychuk.

The military expert also stressed that the more the West provides Ukraine with weapons, the more fierce the hostilities become and the more losses the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffer. Matviychuk recalled that today the Russian army is already striking at the second Ukrainian army, which Kyiv and NATO restored after the hostilities of 2022.
