Lipovoy: Storm Shadow missiles put into service with Ukraine were overdue 10 years ago

Major General Lipovoy revealed information about the expired British Storm Shadow missile shot down by the Russian military.

Major General Sergei Lipovoy shared information about the Storm Shadow missile shot down by the Russian military. As it turned out, the missile expired more than ten years ago, and the Russian side has evidence of this fact.

"According to our information, the UK delivered 200 decommissioned missiles to Ukraine. They did not spend money on the disposal of these ammunition, but simply sold them to Ukraine, despite the expiration date. Where exactly these missiles can fly is an open question," Lipova shared in an interview with MK.

It is not known how reliable the information voiced by Lipov is, since a little earlier Avia.pro journalists reported that missiles had arrived in Ukraine, the service life of which ends in 2024-2025. Moreover, earlier Lipova was already noticed for the publication of inaccurate data. In particular, he stated that on May 9, the territory of Russia was attacked by more than a hundred drones - later he himself denied these data.

Nevertheless, despite the appearance of British Strom Shadow missiles in service with the Ukrainian army, the Russian military, according to official data, has already successfully learned how to intercept them.
