Gladkov made an official statement regarding data on phosphorus bomb attacks in the Belgorod region

The governor of the Belgorod region denied the information about the shelling of phosphorus ammunition.

The governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov denied the information that had previously appeared in the media about the alleged shelling of the region with phosphorus ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to him, this information is not true.

"We checked this information, which we received from various sources, and it was not confirmed. This is not true."Gladkov said.

At the same time, the governor noted that there are currently reports of the possible use of phosphorus bombs by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. However, according to him, at the moment it is too early to draw final conclusions on this issue, as the investigation is ongoing.

“The investigators were already at the scene, they found certain signs that may indicate the use of phosphorus bombs. But in order to make a final statement, I need to get confirmation from the investigating authorities. As soon as we have a result, I will report it immediately ", Gladkov emphasized.

Previously, it was reported that in reality, we are talking about on the use of incendiary ammunition, but not phosphorus shells.
