According to Japanese media, during a training flight, the Japanese F-35 fighter lost its fuel tank flap. The loss of part of the fuselage did not affect the safety of the flight, however, this fact indicates that the aircraft is vulnerable to various kinds of vibrations, which in turn does not make it quite effective, especially when it comes to real air combat.

It should be clarified that earlier experts found that elements of the American F-35 fighter-bomber are susceptible to corrosion, which in turn can lead to serious technical breakdowns during the flight.
