The head of the State Duma Committee on Defense denied the statement about the draft of those who did not serve for mandatory training

Kartapolov: Sobolev's statement about the collection is far from reality.

After a resonant statement by State Duma deputy Viktor Sobolev on fees for non-serving citizens of Russia, it became known that the statement made by him turned out to be unreliable. Conducting special fees for those citizens of the country who did not serve after reaching the age of 30 will not be provided. Information on this subject was voiced by the head of the State Duma Defense Committee, Colonel General Andrei Kartapolov.

According to Kartapolov, the idea of sending such citizens, as well as those who are in the reserve and do not have a military specialty, to military training after changing the draft age does not correspond to reality.

“These are the dreams of Viktor Ivanovich Sobolev, not connected with reality in any way”- said the head of the State Duma Defense Committee, Colonel-General Andrei Kartapolov.

Sobolev himself has not yet commented on the earlier statement, and therefore it remains unknown why it was necessary to disseminate this kind of information, which caused a strong public outcry.

Among other things, it also became known that fathers with many children in Russia will not be involved in mobilization.
