Germany has announced the delivery of its advanced air defense systems Skynex AA Systems and Skyranger to Ukraine.

Skynex AA Systems and Skyranger air defense systems are already deployed on the territory of Ukraine. Previously, it was assumed that Germany would supply such weapons to Kyiv, not earlier than 2025. However, Berlin confirmed the transfer of these weapons to Kyiv and announced its successful use.

The General Director of the German company Rheinmetall confirmed the transfer of these weapons to Ukraine. 35 mm. The installations are capable of fighting various kinds of targets, ranging from small drones to cruise missiles, and, given the data of the CEO of the German company Rheinmetall, Ukraine has already successfully tested this weapon.

At the same time, it has been suggested that such air defense systems were supplied to Ukraine to evaluate their effectiveness, since such weapons have never been used in real combat conditions before, while the current situation in Ukraine provides an opportunity for testing weapons in order to identify its strengths and weaknesses.

When exactly the Skynex AA Systems and Skyranger installations arrived on the territory of Ukraine is unknown, while their number is not called.
